We are excited to meet our new incoming scholars and parents in preparation for the 2021-2022 school year at Catalyst Academy Charter School! Each year in these Meet and Greet events, we assess new scholars in order to design an individualized plan for each child. If you are still deciding which school is best for your child, this is the perfect place to get all your questions answered and meet some of our incredible staff.
Catalyst is a free college-preparatory K-8 public charter school in Pittsburgh, focused on serving families in the Hill District, Garfield, East Liberty, Larimer, Lincoln-Lemington, Homewood, and East Hills communities. Any child in Pennsylvania is eligible to attend.
Time for Building a Community
At Catalyst, we take time to get to know our scholars and their families so that we can support them with all they need. Our Meet and Greet events provide us with important time that helps us connect and build a great foundation for the upcoming school year. Prospective families and families with scholars already enrolled at Catalyst come together to learn about our schedule, uniforms, transportation, and talk with our administration team.
The relationships we develop at Catalyst are key ingredients to building a great community. We care about every scholar and deliver personalized support to make sure each child feels seen, heard, and feels like they are a part of our community.
