We are thrilled to share the results of our recent family survey. We feel it’s a litmus test of the intention and accountability we ascribe to — as partners — with our much valued families as a whole, and to each special, individual, beloved scholar as a unique learner.

This is so validating! On behalf of our dedicated faculty, leaders, board and community — thank you! Our scholars and families deserve our absolute best. This survey is a reminder to keep on keeping on; to keep curating our innovative ideas and proven methodologies for our one-of-a-kind, adored scholars each and every school day.
We set out to do things differently — and we love knowing it’s well received. From our daily STEM classes to Art four days a week, our scholars are able to create and explore in new and meaningful ways. We’re addressing learning gaps for our first graders from distance learning disruptions during their Kinder year at other schools. And we have a keen eye on how every scholar is adapting to their in-person school time with us.
And speaking of new, Catalyst Academy is the first new K-8 charter school in Pittsburgh in six years. We opened as a K-1 school in the fall of 2020, and will grow a grade each year to eventually serve kindergarten through 8th grade. For 2021-22 we will serve kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades!
